TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo Police are trying to find who is responsible for robbing a local bar at knife-point.

This is the second time J & D's Side Trip has been robbed at knife point, and employees say they think it was the same person both times.

The two robberies were about a month apart, but police are trying to figure out if they're connected. The most recent robbery occurred Tuesday at 12:30 a.m. According to police reports, someone walked in through the back door with a knife and demanded money. Employees gave it to him and he ran out.

Police say a similar incident happened about a month ago. They say it's not uncommon for a suspect to develop a pattern and hit a location twice, but they say they keep track of all that because those trends are often what help them catch suspects.

"That plays to our advantage sometimes, because the more times they do things like that, the more chance they have for getting caught," said Sgt. Joe Heffernan.

Anyone with information that could help police is asked to call Crimestoppers at 419-255-1111.
