(RNN) - Arizona Governor Jan Brewer vetoed the so-called "religious freedom" bill, legislation many critics claimed would discriminate against same-sex couples and hurt Arizona businesses.

Attorney General Eric Holder was hospitalized on Thursday after feeling faint and having shortness of breath. He was discharged later the same day to rest at home.

Harold Ramis, a director and actor known for his role in Ghostbusters, died on Monday. He was 69 years old.
