KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

There are still no arrests in Kansas City's 10th homicide this year.

Kristopher A. Washington, 24, of Olathe, was found dead in the parking lot of a warehouse near East 23rd Street and Interstate 435.

Police say they got a shooting call just after 5 p.m. Tuesday, and when they arrived at the Interstate Underground Warehouse, they found Washington.

Police say Washington was not a warehouse employee but knew someone who worked there.

No employees were hurt but several witnesses gave police information on the suspect car.

"We're looking for a smaller, maroon-colored SUV. Someone mentioned an Explorer, but someone mentioned a different type of SUV ... so just a smaller SUV with at least one window shot out," said Kansas City police spokesman Darin Snapp.

Police continue to investigate.

If you know anything about the shooting you are urged to call the TIPS Hotline at 474-TIPS.
