Here is Leslie Bailey's recipe for Chicken and Flour Tortilla Dumplings

3 TBS OF BUTTER

1 TBS OF OLIVE OIL

1 MEDIUM ONION CHOPPED

1 TSP OF THYME

1 TSP OF SALT

1 TSP OF PEPPER

1 TBS OF MINCED GARLIC

SAUTE ALL OF THE ABOVE ITEMS UNTIL ONIONS ARE SOFT.

POUR IN 32 OZ OF CHICKEN BROTH

AND 6-10 CHOPPED CHICKEN TENDERLOINS

SIMMER UNTIL CHICKEN IS DONE

TAKE 5 FLOUR TORTILLIAS AND USING A PIZZA CUTTER CUT INTO STRIPS

BRING CHICKEN MIXTURE TO A BOIL AND PUT IN FLOUR TORTILLAS…RETURN TO SIMMER AND ADD ¾ CUP OF MILK AND 2 TBS OF BUTTER. SIMMER TILL TORTILLIAS ARE SOFT JUST LIKE DUMPLINGS!

ADD MORE PEPPER AND SALT IF YOU WOULD LIKE
