BOWLING GREEN, KY (WAVE) - In an unexpected turn of events the Millionth Corvette has been rescued from the depths of a sinkhole.

Crews in Bowling Green pulled the car by one wheel from the spot where it was lodged and it swung free in the cavern.

Once freed, the car was placed upside down in the bottom of the hole before being lifted to the surface.

Four more Corvettes remain in the hole.
