BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

A new stamp honoring Tuskegee Airman Aldred "Chief" Anderson was released on Thursday.

Anderson was the chief flight instructor at the Tuskegee Institute during World War 2. He not only broke flight records but was an inspiration for other African Americans who wanted to be pilots.
