SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
Shreveport police are looking for the vehicle belonging to one of the 2 people found dead inside an Allendale home Friday night.
Crime scene investigators were called to the home in the 1800 block of Weinstock Street at 5:22 p.m. after a man was discovered dead inside by a family member who had not been able to reach him by phone.
The man was initially discovered by a family member who arrived at the home after not being able to make phone contact with him. He has been identified as 22-year-old Nikko Taylor. Police say he was shot in the upper body.
When officers arrived and searched the rest of the home, a woman was also found dead of a gunshot wound to the upper body. Police have not yet identified her or determined her relationship to Nikko Taylor. She is believed to be in her mid-twenties.
Police say it appears as though the two died sometime within the last 24 hours.
Taylor's 1997 Pontiac Sunfire sedan was also missing from the home. Police are now looking for that vehicle, which bears Louisiana licence plate registration POP018.
