The Houston County Sheriff's Department is investigating an apparent murder-suicide case in the Lovetown community.
Sheriff Andy Hughes has confirmed that officer received a call at 9 a.m. on Saturday of a possible suicide. When officers arrived on scene, a 91-year-old man and 88-year-old woman were found dead inside their home, located at the 3100 block, on County Road 55.
The Lovetown community is located to the southeast of Dothan. Investigators are currently on the scene. We will update you with further information as it becomes available.
