SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport police have located a vehicle they believe was involved in a double homicide in the Allendale neighborhood.

Patrol officers responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle parked near the intersection of Merwin and Hassett Avenue.  Officers positively identified the car as the green Pontiac Sunfire they were searching for in connection with the shooting deaths of Nikko Taylor, 22, and a female whose name has not been released pending notification of her family.

Their bodies were found at a home in the 1800 block of Weinstock St. late Friday afternoon. Both had been shot to death. Taylor's Sunfire was missing.

Now, the vehicle has been impounded and crime scene investigators are processing it for any information or evidence that could help them solve the shootings.

Johnny and Sheila Randolph live next door to where the shooting happened.  The incident has them in disbelief.  "It's a shocking experience.  We never expect something like this happen," Randolph said.

"I hope closure comes to this family and they catch the person who did this, justice needs to be served, justice needs to be done."

Anyone with information in this case is asked to contact Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373 or click here.
