JACKSONVILLE, AL (WBRC) -

Jacksonville police are looking for a suspect involved in a burglary from last week but the alleged getaway driver in the case is in custody.

A neighbor's relative noticed an unfamiliar car outside a home on Whites Gap Road on Tuesday, March 11. The driver of that car fled the scene as the man approached.

The relative and another man went inside the house and confronted an intruder who was wearing a bandana. One of the men fired a shot at the intruder, who escaped before police could arrive.

Police identified the getaway driver as Immanuel Isaiah Holifield, 20. Police say that he turned himself in to authorities Monday afternoon. He is being held on a $60,000 and is charged with first degree burglary.

Authorities have not released information about the other burglary suspect.
