HARTSELLE, AL (WAFF) -

Investigators in Hartselle are working to determine who stole thousands of dollars from a youth baseball league.

Hartselle Police did not say how much was taken from the Hartselle Dixie Youth Baseball organization.

They did say the theft is a first-degree case, which means the amount stolen exceeds $2,500 under the Code of Alabama.

No arrests have been made in the case, but police are working closely with the organization to determine the exact amount of the theft.
