NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Months after a deadly shooting in East Nashville, police have arrested a suspect in connection to the case.

Delvin Samuels, 25, was arrested Monday night in the Hermitage area and is charged with first-degree murder.

He's accused of killing 30-year-old Tyrone Reece in June near the James Cayce public housing development.

Police say they believe it was an act of retaliation for a separate incident.

Samuels' girlfriend, 26-year-old Dianna Hatfield, is in custody and is charged with accessory after the fact.
