MAGNOLIA, AR -

In the latest national baseball polls for Division II which were released on Monday, the Southern Arkansas baseball team is ranked in the top-10 in all three polls; coming in as high as No. 4 according to the D2baseballnews.com poll.

Last week, the Muleriders (24-7, 12-6 GAC) went 3-1 with a mid-week road win over Ouachita Baptist and a home GAC series win over then-ranked No. 13 Arkansas Tech.

As a result of that week, the Muleriders climbed a spot from No. 8 to No.7 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll, but remained the same in both the D2baseballnews.com poll (No. 4) and the College Baseball Lineup poll (No. 5).

The Muleriders will have another four-game slate this week with all four games being played at home. The first of those games is a mid-week non-conference game with Henderson State on Tuesday, March 25 starting at 6 p.m. The other three games will be played as part of a three-game GAC series with Southeastern Oklahoma over the weekend. The series is set to begin on Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m.
