MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Gusty northerly winds at 15-25 mph, occasionally gusting to 30 mph or higher, will transport in a shot of much colder air into the state.

With the threat of severe cold temperatures Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, it is important to remember to bring your pets inside and cover your vulnerable plants. If there are potted plants outside, be sure to bring them inside as well.

The WSFA 12 Storm Vision team will keep you notified of any changes.
