DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) -

Hundreds of Chinese and American government and business leaders are gathering in Dothan for the U.S.-China Manufacturing Symposium.

The symposium is Wednesday through Friday.

The number one objective of the symposium is to establish business key relationships in hopes of securing more jobs.

Speakers include:

  • U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions
  • Loretta Lee (Loretta Lee, Ltd.) - Talk about leadership in manufacturing and the name Loretta Lee quickly rises to the top of the conversation. 
  • Francisco Sanchez – former Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade.
  • Greg Canfield - Secretary of Commerce, Alabama Department of Commerce
  • Sidney Rittenberg –President of Rittenberg Associates
  • Ronnie Chan (Co-chair Asia Society) – Mr. Chan joined the Hang Lung Group in 1972, becoming Chairman in 1991. He also serves as Chairman of Hang Lung Properties Limited, the Group's major publicly listed subsidiary. Mr. Chan is Vice President of The Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong, Co-Chair of the Asia Society and Chairman of its Hong Kong Center. He also acts as an advisor to the China Development Research Foundation in Beijing.
  • Lili Zheng (co-leader of Deloitte Asia Pacific ICE) - Ms. Zheng has more than 22 years of experience in international tax and business consulting services for multinational companies' inbound and outbound investments.
  • Mark Stevens (partner with WIPFLI and Spider Logic) - Mark offers experiences and skills developed through working more than 28 years in the manufacturing industry.
