MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

A young man is dead after a single vehicle accident in Marengo County Wednesday.

According to Alabama State Troopers the crash occurred around 10 p.m. on Marengo County 20, tow miles south of the community of Nicholsville. 20-year-old Samuel Pugh was killed when the 2005 Nissan Altima he was driving, left the roadway and overturned.

A preliminary investigation indicates alcohol and speed as being factors in the crash. No other information is known at this time as troopers continue to investigate.
