Midtown restaurant demolished for future road project

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

One thing you won't see on your commute anymore is the Panda Buffet restaurant in midtown.

The restaurant on Broadway Blvd. near Country Club Road was demolished Thursday morning.

They're paving the way for a major road improvement project that won't start for years.

It's the first and only demolition approved so far during the planning and design phase of the Broadway corridor expansion from Euclid to Country Club.
