Three injured in accident in Daviess Co., KY

DAVIESS CO., KY (WFIE) -

Three people are taken to the hospital after an accident in Daviess County, Kentucky, Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened around 3:20 p.m. on Boston-Laffoon Road in Philpot. 

The Daviess County Sheriff's Office says a car heading south on Boston-Laffoon Road went off the shoulder and the driver overcorrected, causing the car to leave the road and roll four times. 

According to the sheriff's office, the driver, Morgan E. Richeson, 17, and her front seat passenger, Holly M. Morris, 19,were taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.

A backseat passenger, Chelsea L. Harris, 20, was thrown from the vehicle. She was taken by helicopter to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville with what the sheriff's office says are non-life threatening injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt.
