RUSTON, LA (KSLA/Louisiana Tech Sports Information) -

Louisiana Tech held its annual Pro Day Thursday afternoon at Joe Aillet Stadium with 15 recently graduated or former players working out in front of approximately 20 National Football League teams.

During the workouts both Justin Ellis and IK Enemkpali – two Bulldogs who were invited to the NFL Combine – improved on their 40-yard dash times. Ellis ran 5.02 in the 40-yard dash on Thursday after running a 5.27 at the NFL Combine while Enemkpali ran 4.85 at Tech's Pro Day after posting a 5.01 time at the NFL Combine. Enemkpali also improved on his vertical jump Thursday with a 36-inch vertical after jumping 34 inches previously.

Jacarri Jackson wowed the crowd with a 10-foot, 10.5-inch broad jump as well as recording a vertical jump of 41 inches.

Kendrick James had a team best 31 reps on the bench press (at 225 pounds) on the day and also was fast on his feet with a 4.92 time in the 40-yard dash.

Andrew Guillot had a broad jump mark of 10-2.5 and ran a 4.50 in the 40-yard dash but ended his day after that after suffering a hamstring injury.

D.J. Banks ran 4.56 in the 40-yard dash, had a vertical jump of 38 inches and recorded a broad jump of 10-5 while also notching 19 reps in the bench press.

Linebacker Daniel Cobb posted a vertical jump of 38 inches and had a broad jump of 10-0, which is an improvement on a recent workout he participated in in Miami, Fla.

Several former Bulldogs currently in the NFL were on hand for the events including Quinton Patton, Myles White and Ryan Allen.

Louisiana Tech returns to spring practice Friday afternoon at Joe Aillet Stadium.
