NORTHPORT, AL (WBRC) -

Authorities say that two people were injured in a shooting at a Northport apartment community Friday afternoon.

Northport Police and the Tuscaloosa Co. Sheriff's Office responded to the Northgate Circle Apartments around 1 p.m. on the report of a shooting.

Investigators say an argument between two women lead to the shooting. A 22-year-old woman was shot twice and a 22-year-old male bystander was grazed on his arm. Northport Fire Rescue Capt. Jason Norris says the woman who was shot twice is in stable condition.

Officers have identified the suspected shooter in the case, 29-year-old Tanika Dondrel Johnson. She has been charged with attempted murder and second degree assault.
