Funeral for family members killed in plane crash announced

GADSDEN, AL (WAFF) -

A Gadsden family killed in a plane crash will be laid to rest Tuesday.

Funeral services for Katrina Barksdale, her two sons Kobe and Xander, and their cousin Seth McDuffie, will be held at the Crosspoint Community Church at 6 p.m.

Arrangements for the fifth victim, Gadsden business owner Jimmy Hill, have not been announced.

The single-engine plane they were flying in went down in a reservoir in southwestern Colorado last week. The bodies and the wreckage were recovered Thursday.

The fuselage was found upside-down and partially buried in silt under 60 feet of water. The plane took off from Gadsden last Saturday.
