The Lee County Sheriff's Office received an alarm activation call at around 1 p.m. on Monday, March 31. Responding officers found the home had been broken into and property had been stolen.

Lee County officials say deputies and investigators found additional evidence located inside the vehicle linking Sanders to the crime.

The passenger in the vehicle, Starkey, was also arrested on an outstanding FTA Youthful Offender warrant. He is being held without bond.
