DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

A gas station manager was arrested after Decatur police raided a store and found drugs and guns on Tuesday.

Police said they had been investigating the Mini-Mart on Carridale Street for almost four months. During the investigation, they learned synthetic marijuana, or spice, was being sold out of the store.

On Tuesday, police got a search warrant, and when they went inside, they found five loaded handguns and spice. Police said one of the guns had an altered serial number.

Officers arrested the manager of the store, Muneer Hussein. He was charged with trafficking controlled substance analogs and possession of a handgun with an altered serial number.

Morgan County District Attorney Scott Anderson said he prosecutes Spice dealers like any other drug dealer. "It's very dangerous, and I am for prosecuting anyone who sells this stuff, especially to children, and putting them under the jail if I can. What I mean by that is getting them convicted and imprisoned for as long as possible."

Hussein was booked into Decatur City Jail and will be transferred to Morgan County Jail on a $7,500 bond. The mini-mart was back in business later in the day.
