Small talk can be awkward, even if you're the host of Jeopardy and have to chat up contestants for a living.

During a recent episode, one of the contestants took the small talk in a new and unusual direction.

When Alex Trebek asked contestant Tom Cavanaugh what he would do with $1 million, Cavanaugh said he would make a documentary about Bangladesh. He said he wants to put a face on the child labor issues at sweatshops around the world. Then he turned the tables on the host.

"So, it's to try and put a face on who makes our clothes," he said. "Maybe you can find the names of the 8-year-olds who made your fancy suit there, Alex?."
