CHAMBERS COUNTY, AL (WTVM) -
Lanett Police have arrested four men in connection to the death of a Lanett man.
Thomas Starkey, 23, Rocky Starkey, 18, Jacob Shaddix, 18, and Paul Teague, 25, all of Valley, Ala., were booked in the Chambers County Jail. They were all charged with murder.
At first, a murder warrant was issued for Thomas Starkey. Shaddix and Teague were originally wanted for questioning.
On April 9, police responded to reports of a shooting on the 3200 block of 44th Ave. SW in Lanett. There they found Christopher Griggs suffering with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to Lanier Memorial Hospital and later died there.
