DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) -

The Dothan Police Department located and arrested 23-year-old Terry Van Johnson on Monday.

Johnson was wanted for a robbery that occurred on April 13, and police had issued a warrant for his arrest.

Police say that Johnson robbed a man at gunpoint in the 1200 block of North Cherry Street. During the robbery, Johnson took an undisclosed amount of money, and also threatened to kill the victim if he contacted the police.

Johnson was apprehended after officers stopped a vehicle that he was a passenger of.

Johnson was charged with first degree robbery and his bond was set at $500,000.
