Singer/songwriter R. Kelly, often referred to as the "King of R&B", is planning to perform in Alabama's capital city, according to the official events section of his website.
The Grammy award-winning artist will be at the ASU Arena on April 27 for a 7 p.m. show time.
Kelly has sold more than 40 million albums in the United States and more than 100 million worldwide.
The singer is perhaps best known for the song, "I believe I can fly" which earned him three Grammy's in 1998.
