ELMORE COUNTY, AL (WSFA) -

The Elmore County Sheriff's Department is requesting the public's assistance in identifying four individuals in connection to a robbery at an Elmore County gas station.

According to authorities, four males entered the Walsboro Marathon Gas Station armed with pistols and pepper spray on April 14 at approximately 8:55 p.m. They sprayed the two clerks with pepper spray, and forced them onto the floor. The four males took an undetermined amount of currency, and several cartons of Newport Cigarettes.

The four subjects fled the business on foot towards Williams Road, and were last seen getting into a getaway car. The car was described as being a newer model midsize bluish-green SUV.

The four individuals are wanted for first degree robbery.

If you can identify or know the whereabouts of these subjects, authorities are asking you to call police or Crime Stoppers at 215-STOP.
