NASCAR legend Darrell Waltrip was at Samford University on Tuesday, showcasing his historic number 88 racecar and also letting students know about the College Party Pass for Talladega Superspeedway.

"For a college student, Talladega and the Aaron's Dream Weekend, which is May 2-4, has everything," Waltrip said. "If you like excitement, Talladega has it, the most intense, heart-pounding, four-wide racing at 200 mph. If you want fun, Talladega has that, too. There is so much to do, and the Saturday night concert is always spectacular. And, if you like saving money, Talladega Superspeedway caps it off with an unbelievable price tag. You won't believe this deal!"

The College Party Pass is $19 and it gives students access to the concert in the Talladega infield as well as tickets to the Aaron's 499 NASCAR Sprint Cup race on May 4.

"You can't beat that, can you?" Waltrip stated. "I have always loved coming to Talladega. It's racing like no other, and the atmosphere is pure. There is only one Talladega."

Waltrip talked to students on a number of NASCAR topics, and also posed for photographs with his classic racecar and the Dream Weekend Ford Mustang pace car. There was also a silent auction that benefited Feed the Children.

Waltrip is a four-time Talladega Superspeedway winner and three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion.
