BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Residents in north Birmingham are on edge after another house fire.

Wednesday's house fire happened in the 1200 block of 4th Street North. Officials say the house is a complete loss.

Battalion Chief Terry Beckham says the house was not vacant and the cause of the fire hasn't been determined yet.

However, officials say multiple vacant homes have been set on fire in the past month and residents are worried. A Birmingham police officer on scene told FOX6 News that investigators are searching for a suspect in the arsons.
