ENTERPRISE, AL (WSFA) -
The suspect wanted in connection to an April 18 shooting in Enterprise is now in custody after being apprehended in Huntsville.
U.S. Marshals took 21-year-old Terrance Clayton into custody after the Enterprise Police Department obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Clayton is now charged with attempted murder after police say he shot a man multiple times that Thursday night.
Police were called to the 100 block of Woodfield Place Enterprise around 9:30 p.m. that evening on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived they found a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds to his abdomen. He was transported to a local hospital.
A preliminary investigation shows the shooting may be linked to possible narcotics sales.
Clayton will be extradited back to south Alabama where he'll be held at the Coffee County Jail.
