AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

Auburn University and the Auburn Police Department announced that are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the two threatening messages that were found on campus on April 16 and April 22.

On April 22, Haley Center at Auburn University closed for a few hours while police investigated a bomb threat. Police searched the building and determined it to be safe.

Surrounding buildings were not affected by the threat.

According to the university's Twitter account, a threatening message was discovered inside a restroom.

This is the second threat reported at Auburn University in less than a week. Classes at Auburn were cancelled last Thursday after a threatening message was found written on a restroom wall.

Engaging in threats that disrupt the school and causes alarm is a felony offense. Auburn Police, the FBI, and other agencies are investigating these cases.

All Auburn University security concerns should be reported to 334-501-3100 or 911.
