AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

Auburn University and the Auburn Police Division have announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the recent threats on campus.

Classes were cancelled and campus operations were disrupted after threatening messages were left in two different locations on campus in the last week.

The latest incident happened Tuesday morning. Auburn issued a campus alert warning students and faculty to avoid Haley Center after a threat was discovered. The building reopened around 12:30 p.m. and campus officials said classes would resume at 2 p.m.

The university cancelled all classes last Wednesday after a note found in a bathroom stall threatened to "unleash a rampage of biblical proportion" on the anniversary of the Virginia Tech massacre.

Auburn police say state and federal agencies are investigating the threats and using all resources to find the people who are responsible.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Auburn Police Division at 334-501-3140 or the Anonymous Tip line at 334- 246-1391.
