PHOENIX (CBS5) -

One of the most famous flags is going up on display.

The original Rough Rider Flag, which flew at San Juan Hill with Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Riders, is going to be placed into a new, state-of-the-art exhibit Wednesday.

It's a very rare opportunity to see the full flag exposed, including all of its bullet holes. The flag will be placed into its new exhibit at the state Capitol between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

A formal dedication will take place this coming Saturday at noon.
