The families of the victims want answers.  Are the fires related?  Do authorities suspect arson? WSFA took their questions to county and state officials.

COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Emergency crews in Colbert County responded to the scene of a fatal crash involving three vehicles, Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities said one person died in the wreck. That person was later identified as 22-year-old Steven Villalobos of Russellville. He was a nursing student at Northwest Shoals Community College.

Another person was flown to Huntsville Hospital. Their condition has not been released.

Traffic on Highway 43 in Spring Valley was blocked near the intersection with Bluff Canyon Road and was re-opened later Wednesday afternoon.

State troopers continue to investigate the crash.
