Based on several tips and further investigation by the Mentor Police Department with the help of U.S. Marshals, 23-year-old Angel Laquatra of Willoughby, was arrested in connection with the theft of donation jars for Rainbow Babies and Children from a Speedway gas station.  The donation jars were stolen two days in a row.

Laquatra was located by Mentor Police Detectives and the US Marshals hiding in the basement of a home on Center St. She was charged with theft. She will also face drug charges for items found during her arrest.

While investigating her whereabouts and acquaintances, officers discovered her sister Leah Laquatra had an outstanding warrant in the city of Mentor, as did Laquatra's boyfriend, William Hurt. They too were taken into police custody.

Laquatra's father, Thomas Laquatra, of Euclid also has warrants for failure to pay child support out of Lake and Cuyahoga counties but he was not located.

Anyone with information about Thomas Laquatra's whereabouts is urged to contact the US Marshals at 1-866-4WANTED.
