MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange, Montgomery County Commission Chairman Elton Dean and other city and county officials held a news conference Tuesday afternoon to address storm preparedness ahead of another round of potentially severe weather.

Officials announced that the City and County will close offices at 3 p.m. All evening events are also canceled.

The Montgomery Public School System already announced it's plan to dismiss students at 1 p.m.

Mayor Strange says he's been in contact with owners of the Montgomery Biscuits Baseball team and a decision has also been made to cancel tonight's game at Riverwalk Stadium.

Stay with the Doppler 12 StormVision team as they continue to monitor the situation.
