GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Authorities have confirmed a body has been found at the Guntersville Dam on Wednesday.

First responders located the body sometime before 9 a.m. floating in front of the turbines.

Guntersville's rescue squad responded to the scene.

Authorities recovered the body from the lakeside shortly after 10 a.m. The body will be sent to the forensics department for an autopsy and identification.
