CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Reds closer Aroldis Chapman will begin his rehabilitation stint in the minors on Thursday, Bryan Price announced Wednesday afternoon.

Price projects that the LHP will pitch four games with the Dayton Dragons.

Chapman threw 25 pitches during batting practice on Tuesday, passing a final test before transitioning to the next phase of his rehabilitation.

"I feel normal. I feel like nothing really happened. I feel like I was before I got hit by the ball," Chapman told the media on Tuesday.

Chapman was hit in the face by a line drive on March 19 during a pre-season game in Goodyear, Arizona. He had a titanium plate and screws inserted into his head and nose to help fractures heal.
