SENATH, MO (KFVS) - Senath-Hornersville High School students, faculty and staff hosted a "Splash and Dash" charity run Saturday, May 3 at Senath Williamson Park to benefit the Delta Children's Home in Kennett, Mo.

Around 300 people registered for the color race, and registration fee was $20 per person.

The race was presented by the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and Future Teachers of America (FTA) clubs of Senath-Hornersville High School.

Jeff McCormick with the Delta Children's home said the proceeds from the race will be used to buy new generators for severe weather emergencies such as thunderstorms and tornadoes or snowstorms.
