MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Police confirm to WSFA that a shooting occurred at the intersection of Azalea Drive and Edgar D. Nixon Ave on Saturday afternoon. 

Police and medical personnel responded to the call at 3:35 p.m. in reference to a subject shot. When they arrived, they made contact with the victim, a male, who sustained a single gunshot wound to the right wrist. The victim was transported to a local hospital with a non life-threatening gun shot wound.

Police have made no arrest at this time and the investigation is still on-going. Stay with WSFA 12 News as we keep you updated.
