Drowning victim in Blount County lake identified

The Ragland boy who fell into the water of Highland Lake in Blount County has been identified.

Authorities says the victim has been identified as 15-year-old Taylor Nail. The Blount County Sheriff's Department said the teen's body was found around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday in the area of the lake where he fell into.

The teen was with two other people on a boat inspecting boat docks and piers for storm damage when he fell overboard.
