ABBEVILLE, AL (WSFA) -

The Henry County Sheriff's Department has confirmed that escaped inmate, 19-year-old Vince Michael Cunningham, has been apprehended and is back in custody.

Sheriff's deputies were searching for Cunningham who escaped from the Henry County Jail on Tuesday morning at approximately 11:30 a.m.

Authorities say Cunningham was arrested on April 23 for third degree burglary and additional pending charges. He was being held on bonds totaling $50,000.
