PIKE CO., AL (WSFA) -

Two crashes happen within minutes of each other on County Road 3339 in Pike County.

According to Alabama State Troopers the first crash involving a school bus, happened at 7:31 a.m. A man backing out of his driveway was struck by an oncoming bus. No children were on the bus at the time of the crash.

The second crash occurred around 7:50 a.m. A car, which was sitting in the traffic backup from the first accident, was rear-ended by a truck. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.

Roadways are being cleared and should open soon. No additional details are being released at this time.
