HOUSTON CO., AL (WSFA) -

Three people were arrested Friday and charged with a total of 56 counts of voter fraud in Houston County, according to Sheriff Andy Hughes.

  • Olivia Lee Reynolds, 65, charged with 26 counts of voter fraud, bond set at $65,000
  • Lesa Renee Colman, 49, charged with 20 counts of voter fraud, bond set at $50,000
  • Janice Lee Hart, 63, charged with 10 counts of voter fraud, bond set at $25,000
According to Hughes, an investigation was launched after the District Attorney received allegations of absentee ballots and applications that were falsified in Dothan's election in August.

After interviewing 96 people who had submitted absentee ballot applications they found probable cause to issue warrants on the three suspects.
