EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

A wanted man in Effingham County accused of beating a teenage boy while using a racial slur has turned himself in.

The Effingham County Sheriff's Office issued arrest warrants for 45-year-old Allen Donnelly, accused of beating a 15-year-old boy while using the "n-word" when Donnelly found the boy at home with his stepdaughter.

The boy had been invited over by the girl's grandmother. Deputies say Donnelly assaulted the grandmother when she tried to stop the beating.

Donnelly turned himself in at the Effingham County Jail early Monday morning. His bond has been set at $3,500.
