NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A woman is recovering after allegedly being attacked by another woman with her car.

Police say the two women were arguing when the victim decided to turn and walk away.

That's when Belinda Cockrill allegedly got into her car and drove over the victim from behind.

Police say the woman's leg was crushed below her knee.

A witness flagged down police and told officers that Cockrill was driving so fast that the car busted up a manhole cover and continued up a grass hill.

Officers later stopped Cockrill in a nearby parking lot.

Police say Cockrill was driving drunk, and they found a crack pipe in her car.

Cockrill was booked into jail on Tuesday and is facing several charges.
