Police: Man found in Murfreesboro building died of natural causes

MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

Police say the man whose body was found in an abandoned building in Murfreesboro died of natural causes.

Officers were called to an abandoned building off Molloy Lane around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The man who called police said he went to the building to check on a homeless friend who he had not heard from for several weeks, which is when he found his friend's body.

The name of the deceased person has not been released at this time.
