PHENIX CITY, AL (WSFA) -

On Friday, May 30, the interim superintendent of Phenix City Public schools, Dr. Rodney S. Hinton, will be delivering the keynote address to the graduates of Troy University.

Dr. Hinton holds several degrees from Auburn University, has served as an elementary and secondary principal and as a director of curriculum and instruction on the central office level. He has also served as a teacher on the secondary and university level. He is continuing to work as a consultant to businesses and schools.

The ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. inside the Columbus Civic Center and will combine the Phenix City Campus and the Columbus/Fort Benning site with approximately 250 students receiving their degrees.
