MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Authorities have identified the victims involved in a deadly motorcycle crash.
The wreck happened Friday afternoon on Highway 431 near
Merritt Drive in New Hope.
Police said a motorcycle collided with a Toyota Camry after
the bike pulled out from a local business. Both people on the motorcycle were
The Madison County Deputy Coroner identified the victims as
Gregory and Barbara Binkley of Florida.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with
injuries. Witnesses said she stumbled out of her vehicle and collapsed on the
ground. "I knew she was the one involved," said Tyler Daniel, a witness. "At
that time I had not really seen the bodies or the other people that were
involved in it yet. Just had an idea of what was going on and first instinct
was to get in there and help and see what I can do."
New Hope police are checking with local business owners to
see if they have any security footage of the crash.
